China's U-16 men's football team completes training

HAIKOU China's Under-16 national football team has completed training in the country's southern city of Haikou, Hainan province on Saturday.

The team underwent a total of 35 high-intensity trainings, six teaching matches and 29 video tactics classes in the 29-day training session.

The purpose of playing videos of the world's best teams and players is to show our players how those world-class players do on the pitch

Video tactics lessons are a key part of training schedule.

"This is a simple and practical way to learn," said head coach Antonio Puche Vicente.

"The purpose of playing videos of the world's best teams and players is to show our players how those world-class players do on the pitch."

After this stage of the training camp, the team will gather again at the end of June to prepare for the upcoming 2020 AFC Under-16 Championship in Bahrain.

The AFC U-16 Championship Bahrain 2020 will be played from November 24 to December 12. China's U-16 men's football team will face defending champions Japan, Indonesia and Saudi Arabia in Group D.
