BEIJING - The International Champions Cup (ICC), a pre-season tournament of friendly games featuring leading clubs from around the world, has been called off due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The ICC tournament has been played in the United States and elsewhere in July and August since 2013.
Europe's top leagues are currently suspended but it still hoped to complete the current season, possibly into the summer months.

Organizers said it was hoped to resume the tournament next year in the United States and Asia.
