Vietnam unveils 27-member national committee for APEC 2027

HANOI – Vietnam unveiled its 27-member national committee for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Year 2027, the Vietnam News Agency reported Wednesday.

The committee is tasked with assisting the prime minister in directing, overseeing and coordinating the work of the subcommittees, the secretariat, ministries, localities and other agencies in preparing for and hosting conferences and activities during APEC Year 2027, according to the report.

Vietnam will host the 2027 APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting in the Phu Quoc special zone in the southern province of An Giang.
