The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) will stage four flagship innovation and technology fairs this April, headlined by the debut of RoboPark, a new robotics showcase highlighting Hong Kong’s growing role as an international innovation and technology (I&T) hub.
Drawing more than 3,700 exhibitors from 28 countries and regions, the four events — InnoEX, Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Spring Edition), Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Spring Edition), and the Smart Lighting Expo — will be held across two weeks at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
InnoEX 2026, the heart of the April line-up, will spotlight five emerging fields — AI+, Robotics, the Low-altitude Economy, Property Technology and Retail Technology — with RoboPark serving as its signature feature, according to Jenny Koo Jing-man, deputy executive director of HKTDC.

Co-organized with the Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau, RoboPark is expected to bring 100 robots across commercial, healthcare, industrial and entertainment applications.
“Exhibitors include four of the world’s top five humanoid robot makers — AgiBot, EngineAI, UBTECH and Unitree — alongside Hong Kong startups Rice Robotics and SOTA Robotics. Participants from the UK, Singapore and other overseas markets will also join the display,” said Jenny Koo Jing-man, deputy executive director of HKTDC.

Over 40 live events will take place at RoboPark, from demonstrations to networking sessions aimed at helping enterprises scale into global markets. “InnoEX 2026 demonstrates that Hong Kong is no longer just a buyer of technology, but a premier laboratory for its application,” said Ken Ip, associate director of the Innovative Incubation Centre at Saint Francis University.
“By spotlighting the low-altitude economy and AI integration, we are signaling to the world that our infrastructure is ready for the next wave of industrial automation,” said the SFU professor, who is also chairman of the Asia MarTech Society.

Koo noted that the council’s April tech events align closely with the National 15th Five-Year Plan and the city’s I&T development goals listed on the city’s Budget 2026-27.
“These exhibitions showcase Hong Kong’s strengths as an international I&T hub and foster cross-sector collaboration,” she said.
“The key is to do the joined up thinking between these innovative industries, especially AI and robotics. Even though economically speaking, AI and robotics are a small fraction of the nation’s overall economy, they have been the strategic pillar for its future importance,” said Quentin Parker
Following InnoEX, the twin lighting fairs will take place from April 20 to 23, with new highlights including Light Lab, an immersive showcase of smart lighting innovations under the theme “Go Smart — Live Green”.
