The 2026 Yuexiu Temple Fair began on Tuesday in Guangzhou, the capital of China's southern Guangdong province, under the theme “Ancient City Resurges, Three Veins Endure.”

The week-long event, which has the Beijing Road Cultural Core Zone as its main venue, features synchronized activities such as Cantonese opera, lion dance, song, and dance performances across multiple sites in the city.

Visitors can enjoy vibrant displays of intangible cultural heritage, a bustling market for Lingnan-style products, and a grand food gala, showcasing the rich legacy of this millennia-old commercial metropolis and the dynamic reinvention of Lingnan culture
