S. Korean ex-PM Han's legal team files appeal against aiding insurrection sentence

SEOUL - South Korean former Prime Minister Han Duck-soo's legal team filed an appeal on Monday against the first-instance verdict on his aiding insurrection charges, Yonhap News Agency reported.

Han was sentenced to 23 years in prison for aiding and abetting the insurrection of the impeached former President Yoon Suk-yeol.
