PYONGYANG - Kim Jong-un, top leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), dismissed Vice-Premier of the Cabinet Yang Sung Ho at an inauguration ceremony of a modernized industrial machinery complex on Monday, the official Korean Central News Agency reported Tuesday.

Kim visited the first-stage modernization project completed at Ryongsong Machine Complex, the report said.

"Completely owing to the irresponsible, rude and incompetent economic guidance officials," the modernization project experienced unnecessary man-made confusions, encountered difficulties and incurred "not a little amount of economic loss," he was quoted as saying.
