Hong Kong's foreign reserve assets at $427.9b as of Dec

HONG KONG --  Hong Kong's foreign currency reserve assets reached $427.9 billion at the end of December, down from $429.4 billion at end-November, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority announced on Wednesday.

The foreign currency reserve assets at end-December represented over five times the currency in circulation, or about 38 percent of Hong Kong dollar M3, the monetary authority said.
