Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning on Wednesday emphasized that China never interferes in the internal affairs of other countries and has no interest in collecting so-called intelligence on the UK Parliament.

Her remarks came after the United Kingdom's national security agency warned members of parliament of the risk from so-called Chinese spies.

China has repeatedly stated its solemn position, Mao emphasized at a daily news briefing.
