The Shenzhen Bay Port will suspend usual operations from 2 am to 11 am on Saturday to accommodate the cross-boundary marathon for the 15th National Games, during which athletes will run across the Shenzhen Bay Bridge.

A total of 73 athletes from 22 provinces and regions will set off from the Shenzhen Bay Sports Center, enter Hong Kong via the port, run along the Shenzhen Bay Bridge and Kong Sham Western Highway Viaduct, before turning back to conclude at the sports center.

Cross-border vehicles should use the Huanggang, Wenjindu, and Liantang ports during this period.

Partial road closures near the sports center for marathon facility setup may be in effect until noon on Saturday. While the sports venues and shops within the center will remain open, the public is advised to use public transport to avoid traffic congestion.
