China deepens antitrust probe into Nvidia

China has opened a further investigation into US chipmaker Nvidia for violating the country's anti-monopoly law, the State Administration for Market Regulation said on Monday.

After a preliminary review, Nvidia was found in breach of the country's anti-monopoly law and conditions were attached to its earlier approval of the company's acquisition of Mellanox Technologies, the regulator said.
