Portuguese football sensation and global icon Cristiano Ronaldo joined an official training session and geared up for the Saudi Super Cup semi-final at the Joint Sports Centre in Kowloon Tong, Hong Kong on Monday.

Deputy General Secretary of Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) Ibrahim Al Kabbaa and General Secretary of Hong Kong Football Association (HKFA) Charles Cheung also held a pre-match press conference.

Ronaldo arrived in Hong Kong on August 14 as his club side Al Nassr prepares to contest the Saudi Super Cup in the city.

The Saudi Super Cup, set to take place at the 40,000-capacity Hong Kong Stadium, features four teams.
