BEIJING - Chinese stocks were higher in the morning session on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.51 percent to 3,653.5 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index went up 1.48 percent to 11,293.25 points at midday.
The ChiNext Index, tracking China's Nasdaq-style board of growth enterprises, went up 1.99 percent to 2,380.29 points in the morning session.
The ChiNext Index, together with the Shenzhen Component Index and other indices, reflects the performance of stocks listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
