Hong Kong stocks close lower

Hong Kong stock market ended lower on Thursday with the benchmark Hang Seng Index down 1.6 percent to close at 24,773.33 points.

The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index lost 1.72 percent to end at 8,882.95 points, and the Hang Seng Tech Index slid 0.69 percent to end at 5,453.14 points.
