Chinese shares open mixed Tuesday

BEIJING - Chinese stocks opened mixed on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index opening flat at 3,519.81 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.15 percent higher at 10,700.37 points.
The ChiNext Index, tracking China's Nasdaq-style board of growth enterprises, was up 0.65 percent to open at 2,211.40 points Tuesday.
The ChiNext Index, together with the Shenzhen Component Index and other indices, reflects the performance of stocks listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
