China’s first provincial-level smart tourism platform for global tourists was officially launched on Thursday at the headquarters of the World Tourism Alliance in Hangzhou, the capital city of East China’s Zhejiang province.
Built on China’s first large AI model tailored for tourism, the "Zhejiang Travel" platform integrates multiple intelligent agents to create a fully streamlined smart tourism service system for inbound travelers to Zhejiang.
With four core modules — “Plan Trips,” “Travel & Convenient Services,” “Explore Fun Nearby,” and “Recommended Special Travel Routes” — the platform delivers a wide range of functions, including real-time translation, e-wallet, ride-hailing and car rental services, as well as AI-powered travel photography.

The platform also highlights three standout features: one-click customized services, the “Easy Go” travel code, and its role as the “best travel companion”.
Customized Services
Powered by Alibaba’s Tongyi Qianwen and DeepSeek, and based on Zhejiang's cultural and tourism data, the platform offers four intelligent functions: Tour Guide, Hotel Advisor, Budget Planner, and Local Assistant.
Users can receive instantly generated personalized itineraries by entering their travel dates, group size, and preferences. The platform can also adjust plans based on individual budgets and real-time crowd data.
‘Easy Go’ Travel Code
Leveraging Zhejiang’s immigration data, the “Zhejiang Travel” platform provides a seamless travel experience, streamlining processes such as customs clearance, payments, accommodation, and transportation — all through a single “Easy Go” travel code.
Travel Companion
Personalized to user preferences, the platform intelligently recommends nearby attractions, local cuisine, shopping destinations, and cultural events.
It also offers accurate real-time translation, as well as luggage transfer services connecting airports, hotels, scenic spots, and high-speed rail stations.
The “Zhejiang Travel” platform is now accessible via WeChat Mini Programs, Alipay Mini Programs, and an H5 web page.
