HONG KONG — The Hong Kong, China leg of the FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League 2025 concluded on Sunday, attracting more than 75,000 spectators.
Sponsored by China Life (Overseas) and organized by the Volleyball Association of Hong Kong, China, the Hong Kong leg of the tournament this year featured six of the world’s top women’s volleyball teams: China, Italy, Japan, Thailand, the Czech Republic, and Bulgaria.
Over the course of 12 matches from June 18 to June 22 at the Kai Tak Sports Park, the event attracted more than 75,000 spectators, with an average ticket sales rate of 90 percent.
China played four matches during the event, securing three victories against Japan, the Czech Republic, and Bulgaria.
On Sunday, top-ranked Italy swept past China in straight sets, winning 25–21, 32–30, and 25–11.

Despite the loss, the Chinese women’s volleyball team earned enthusiastic applause from fans for their resilient performance, ultimately being honored with the Most Popular Team title.
China Life (Overseas) has sponsored the event for six consecutive years.
