Thailand, Cambodia shorten permitted stay for each other's citizens

BANGKOK/PHNOM PENH - Thai Foreign Ministry spokesperson Nikorndej Balankura said on Monday that since Cambodia has shortened the permitted stay for Thai nationals to seven days, Thailand has also adjusted its policy accordingly, setting the limit of Cambodian nationals' stay in Thailand to seven days.

Touch Sokhak, deputy spokesperson for Cambodia's Ministry of Interior, said on the same day that in response to Thailand's cut of the visa-stay period for Cambodian citizens, Cambodia has shortened the permitted stay for Thai citizens from 60 days to seven days.
