VLADIVOSTOK - Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) in Primorye Territory has thwarted an attempt to set fire to railway equipment, the TASS news agency reported on Monday.

The FSB "prevented sabotage on a section of the Far Eastern Railway", the agency was quoted as saying.

"Two 19-year-old residents of Primorye Territory, acting on instructions from Ukrainian special services and expecting monetary reward, carried out actions aimed at setting fire to railway relay cabinets in Primorye Territory," the regional FSB said.
