NEW DELHI/ISLAMABAD – India and Pakistan on Friday extended airspace restrictions for each other’s aircraft for another month in tit-for-tat moves.
According to a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) issued by India’s federal Ministry of Civil Aviation, no aircraft registered in Pakistan, and operated, owned or leased by Pakistani airlines or operators will be allowed to enter Indian airspace till June 23.

The airspace ban also applies to Pakistani military aircraft as per the NOTAM.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) announced on Friday that the government had extended its airspace ban on all Indian flights by one month.
The airspace closure will remain in effect until June 23, 2025.

According to a NOTAM issued by the PCAA, the restriction applies to all aircraft registered in India, operated, owned, or leased by Indian airlines and operators, including military flights.
The ban was initially imposed on April 24.
