The Chinese Foreign Ministry has lodged solemn representations to Japan regarding Japanese right-wing elements intruding into China's territorial airspace over the Diaoyu Islands by piloting a civilian aircraft.

Liu Jinsong, director-general of the Asian Affairs Department of the Foreign Ministry, on Sunday summoned Yokochi Akira, chief minister of the Embassy of Japan in China, and urged Japan to cease such illegal and infringing activities immediately and to take effective measures to prevent the recurrence of similar incidents.
