30 youths, 30 groups receive China Youth May 4th medals

Thirty individuals and thirty groups have been awarded with China Youth May 4 Medals for their outstanding contributions in the fields of scientific research, rural vitalization, green economy and social services.

The China Youth May 4 Medal is the highest honor for Chinese youths aged from 14 to 40, which is granted by the Central Committee of the Communist Young League and All-China Youth Federation. The nation began awarding the medals in 1997.

The two organizations have also granted 677 individuals titles of New Era Youth Pioneer of 2025 for their good moral characters and noble value pursuit. The prestigious recognition is also open to Chinese youths aged between 14 and 40 years old.

These honored youths have served positions, mostly in the grassroots level, in sectors including scientific research, cultural promotion, journalism and communication, rural vitalization, social services, and healthcare, according to a release by the youth league and youth federation on Wednesday.

The youth league and youth federation encourage Chinese youths to take these honored individuals and groups as models and good examples and vitalize the nation's modernization with their energy and contributions in the future.
