SHANGHAI - Oscar and Matias Vargas scored last-minute goals as Shanghai Port beat Chengdu Rongcheng 2-0 in the Chinese Super League (CSL) 13th round here on Wednesday.

The home team had several goal attempts but couldn't break the deadlock until the 87th minute, when Feng Jing was brought down in the box and the referee awarded Shanghai a penalty, which was converted by Oscar with composure.

In the stoppage time, Chengdu defender Feng Lei mistakenly passed the ball back to Vargas, who cut into the penalty area and fired the ball into the far post, sealing the 2-0 victory for Shanghai.
