6 killed, 35 injured in Ukrainian drone attack in Russia's Belgorod

MOSCOW — Six people were killed and 35 others injured after a Ukrainian drone attack in Russia's border region of Belgorod, regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said Monday.

The drones hit two vehicles transporting company employees going to work and a passenger car near the village of Berezovka, Borisovsky district, Gladkov said on his Telegram channel.

Among the injured, two were children, with both suffering minor injuries. Another man is in serious condition and is currently undergoing surgery, Gladkov added.

The Russian Investigative Committee said Monday that it will investigate the attack and "establish all the circumstances of what happened, and the persons involved in the commission of this crime."
