KIEV - Four thermal power plants (TPP) of Ukraine's largest private energy company DTEK were hit during overnight missile attacks by Russia, the company said in a press release on Saturday.

The air strikes have seriously damaged equipment at the TPPs, according to the DTEK's press service.

Energy infrastructure facilities in Ukraine's western Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk regions and the central Dnipropetrovsk region were under the attacks, the country's Energy Ministry said in a Telegram post.
