(PARKER ZHENG / CHINA DAILY)HONG KONG - Officials and residents from different walks of life headed to various polling stations across Hong Kong on Sunday to cast their vote in the 2023 District Council Ordinary Election.

Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu and Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Erick Tsang Kwok-wai were among the senior officials who cast their votes in the morning.

Secretary for Labour and Welfare Chris Sun Yuk-han inspected the arrangements for transporting the elderly to polling stations in Tsuen Wan, while Chairman of the Electoral Affairs Commission David Lok Kai-hong examined the operations of polling stations in Yau Ma Tei.
