Security chief shares festive food, joy with minority groups

Secretary for Security of Hong Kong Chris Tang Ping-keung has expressed the wish that the ethnic minority groups in the special administrative region can enjoy the upcoming traditional Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays with other groups.

In his recent visits to people of ethnic minority in the SAR, he shared specially prepared mooncakes with Muslim people of South Asian origin at elderly care centers and schools in Sham Shui Po and Yau Tsim Mong districts.

He was also offered special desserts during a visit to two local families of South Asian origin in their apartments.

Tang said he was extending the government's greetings to the locals and hopes for all ethnic groups to share the joy and fun during the festival and holidays.
