A high-level forum that focuses on promoting cultural development in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area kicked off on Thursday, with scholars and experts sharing their insights and thoughts on how to bolster cultural strength in the 11-city cluster.

The “Build up the Cultural Strength of the Greater Bay Area” session is one of the parallel sessions of the "Building up China’s Cultural Strength” forum which is being held on the sidelines of the 19th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair.

Scholars and experts from Guangdong province, and the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions are scheduled to deliver keynote speeches at the one-day session.
