CE to meet DRC president on Monday

HONG KONG - President Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, who is in the People's Republic of China for a state visit, was set to arrive in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on Sunday for a two-day visit.

Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu will meet with the President Tshisekedi on Monday at the Government House, according to an HKSAR government statement.

Tshisekedi is on a state visit from May 24 to 29 at the invitation of President Xi Jinping. President Xi and Tshisekedi announced on Friday the elevation of China-DRC bilateral relations to a comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership.
