ZHUJI, China - The Shanxi Loongs stormed past the Shanghai Sharks 115-99, while the Shenzhen Aviators defeated Jiangsu Dragons 106-85 in the rescheduled 10th round of the 2022-23 Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league regular season here on Thursday.

Shanghai outperformed Shanxi in the paint as big men Wang Zhelin, Ren Junwei and Yan Pengfei scored 19, 24 and 15 points respectively. However, the Sharks had a terrible 20.9% 3-pointer percentage from 43 attempts, in which Shanxi doubled. Kay Felder led Shanxi with 28 points and 13 assists, and Zhang Ning, who nailed five 3-pointers, added 26 points.

Shanghai head coach Li Chunjiang attributed the loss to injuries, and he also drew a harsh judgment on his side's performance in the second phase of the regular season: "We lost some matches that we shouldn't have and we will come back as a better team after the break."
