CSL: Zhejiang ties Shenhua, Meizhou whitewashes Hebei

BEIJING - Nyasha Mushekwi's late penalty ensured a point for Zhejiang FC in a 1-1 draw with Shanghai Shenhua, while Meizhou Hakka claimed an impressive 6-0 win over Hebei FC in the Chinese Super League on Saturday.

In the game against Zhejiang, Shenhua started strongly. Wu Xi's delicate pass found Yu Hanchao who curled a strike past keeper Gu Chao in the 11th minute.

Nyasha Mushekwi equalized in the 89th minute with a penalty from a handball of Shenhua's Cao Yunding inside the box.

Facing former club Hebei, Yin Hongbo scored with a composed finish to give Meizhou a 1-0 lead in the 13th minute.

In the second half, Nebojsa Kosovic's pass found Brazilian winger Rodrigo Henrique who slotted home in the 50th minute to double Meizhou's advantage.

Four minutes later, Chen Guokang scored in close range for the third Meizhou goal after Rodrigo's shot was refused by Hebei keeper Bao Yaxiong.

The 23-year-old midfielder seized another chance on 65 minutes with a deft finish. Then, Aleksa Vukanovic and Cui Lin added two goals to help Meizhou seal the 6-0 win.

Hebei has conceded 32 goals in the past nine defeats in a row and still doesn't know how to get out of the slump.
