HONG KONG -  Hong Kong is filled with festive moods on July 1, as the city marks the 25th anniversary of its return to the motherland.

Despite the typhoon signal No 3 being raised, it did not dampen residents' celebration spirits as they took part in a variety of events including dances and a tram parade.
