HONG KONG - Chief executive designate John Lee Ka-chiu will visit Beijing on Saturday, during which he will receive from the Central People's Government the instrument of appointment as the sixth-term Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
In a statement issued on Friday, the HKSAR government said Lee will depart for Beijing on Saturday and return on Tuesday.

Accompanying Lee will be Private Secretary to the Chief Executive-elect Priscilla To and the Press Secretary Alex Chan.
Lee's wife will also accompany him on the trip.
