JERUSALEM - Israeli champions Maccabi Tel Aviv on Wednesday evening beat Turkey's Fenerbahce 85-76 at home in the closing game of the Euroleague regular season.
The 23rd-round game, originally scheduled for Jan 27, was then postponed due to a COVID-19 outbreak in the visiting team.

Fenerbahce, on the other hand, finished a disappointing Euroleague season in 12th place with a 10-18 record.
9,816 fans at the Menorah Mivtachim Arena in the coastal city of Tel Aviv saw a close first quarter, ending 21-21.

James Nunnally inspired Maccabi to take a 42-36 lead in the 18th minute, but Fenerbahce cut to 45-43 by halftime.
Scottie Wilbekin and Derrick Williams led Maccabi to a 60-53 lead in the 26th minute, on the way to a 66-62 at the end of the third quarter.
Fenerbahce dominated the first minutes of the final quarter, and Ismet Akpinar made it 69-69, before crucial points by Ante Zizic and Scottie Wilbekin decided the game for the home team.

Nunnally scored game-high 19 points. Zizic added 16, while Wilbekin finished with 14 points.
Devin Booker scored 14 points for Fenerbahce, with Ahmet Duverioglu adding 12 more.
