Hong Kong sees 1 new imported COVID-19 case

HONG KONG - Hong Kong reported one new imported COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, taking the city's tally to 12,149.

The Centre for Health Protection (CHP) said the new patient is a 45-year-old woman who arrived from the United Kingdom. 

The woman, who stayed at Nina Hotel Island South in Wong Chuk Hang, was asymptomatic.

She received two doses of the CoronaVac vaccine in Hong Kong on May 3 and May 31, and tested positive for anti-spike protein antibody on July 23.

According to the CHP, a total of 41 cases had been reported during Sept 1 to 14, all of which were imported.
