Over 136m COVID-19 vaccine doses administered across China

BEIJING / SHENZHEN - Over 136.67 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines had been administered across China as of Saturday, the National Health Commission said Sunday.

In south China's Guangdong province, a total of around 10.19 million COVID-19 vaccine doses had been administered as of Friday, the provincial health commission said.

About 8.01 million people had been vaccinated, with 2.16 million having received two doses.

Currently, the province can administer a maximum of 1.4 million doses per day, the commission said.
