TEHRAN - The Iranian Foreign Ministry said Monday that if the parties to the Iranian 2015 nuclear deal do not adhere to their commitments, Iran will stop implementing the Additional Protocol of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

In response to the US withdrawal from the nuclear deal in 2018 and re-imposition of sanctions, Iran has stopped implementing parts of its obligations under the deal

The ministry's spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said that "the law of the parliament is completely clear ... if the other party fails to comply with its obligations, the IAEA's Additional Protocol inspections will be suspended."

He stressed that the end to the the IAEA's protocol inspection "does not mean the expelling of IAEA inspectors."
