HONG KONG - Hong Kong's foreign currency reserve assets rose to US$491.6 billion as at the end of December 2020, up from November's US$485.7 billion, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority announced Thursday.
There were no unsettled foreign exchange contracts at end-December 2020 and end-November 2020, according to the monetary authority.
The reserve assets represent about seven times the currency in circulation.
