Hong Kong stocks close 2.11% higher

HONG KONG - Hong Kong stocks closed up 513.25 points, or 2.11 percent, to 24,890.68 points on Tuesday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 24,662.04 and 25,031.57. Turnover totaled HK$141.36 billion (about US$18.24 billion).
