SARAJEVO - World No 1 tennis player Novak Djokovic visited the Olympic Center Jahorina near Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) on Wednesday.

Local officials presented Djokovic with a 400-square meter plot, located right next to the "Novak Djokovic ski trail"

Last December, Djokovic allowed the Olympic Center to name one of their newly built slopes after him. Now, the local community decided to return the favor.

Local officials presented Djokovic with a 400-square meter plot, located right next to the "Novak Djokovic ski trail". The officials hope Djokovic will build a log cabin there and spend more time in Jahorina, said the Municipality of Pale on its official Facebook page.

Jahorina is one of four Olympic Mountains surrounding Sarajevo where the 1984 Winter Olympics were held. Compared to the other three, Igman, Bjelasnica and Trebevic, Jahorina is the most developed one.

The Olympic Center Jahorina is one of the most popular ski centers in the region with 150,000 visits per season. The lift is capable of transporting up to 17,000 tourists per hour up the ski slopes.
