Hong Kong stocks close 0.50% lower

HONG KONG - Hong Kong stocks closed down 125.76 points, or 0.50 percent, to 24,781.58 points on Wednesday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 24,770.95 and 25,071.32. Turnover totaled 115.43 billion Hong Kong dollars (about US$14.89 billion).
