SARAJEVO - Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic's future is now uncertain, local medal reported on Thursday.

Reports have swirled that Pjanic, also plays for the Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) national team, will join Spanish club Barcelona as the two clubs are understood to have been in close talks on the matter.

Juventus originally asked Barcelona for left winger Ansu Fati, but a new request arrived that it is looking for Dutch midfielder Frenkie de Jong, reports said.

The 23-year-old star signed from Ajax last year for 75 million euros. Reports said the Dutchman is not happy in Barcelona because he expected more minutes in the Spanish first league, and Juventus is ready to offer him consistent play.
