BEIJING — Zhu Ting was named in the Women's  Volleyball Team Of The Decade: 2010-2020 by famed volleyball website Volleyverse.

The other outside player on the list is Kim Yeon-koung from South Korea. Brazil's Fabiana Claudino and Serbia's Milena Basic made the list as the best middle players

As the only Chinese player on this list, Zhu was selected in the 'outside' position, which is one of the major scoring positions in a volleyball team.

Fellow Serbs, Tijana Boskovic and Maja Ognjenovic, claimed the positions of opposite and setter respectively. Italy's Monica de Gennaro was selected as the best Libero of the passed decade.

Appointed captain of team China in 2017, Zhu was the scoring core and spiritual leader for the team that recently grabbed its 10th Women's Volleyball World Cup in 2019.
