KUALA LUMPUR - The India Badminton Open 2020 will proceed as scheduled from March 24 to 29 in New Delhi after relevant risks related to COVID-19 were considered, the Badminton World Federation (BWF) said on Wednesday.

The BWF and Badminton Association of India (BAI) confirmed the decision after consultation with health experts in the face of the COVID-19 situation, the BWF said in a statement.

"BWF accepts that all relevant health, safety and logistical risks have been considered in this process," it said.
