PSG's clash with Dortmund to be played behind closed doors

PARIS - Paris Saint-Germain's Champions League round-of-16 return leg match against Dortmund, which was scheduled for March 11, will be played behind closed doors due to the outbreak of COVID-19, said the local police office on Monday.

"In an application of the measures announced by the defense council last night, the Prefect of Police decided that the match #PSGBVB will take place behind closed doors," the Parisian police force said in a statement on social media.

The French government has announced to ban all the gatherings of more than 1,000 people on Sunday, but said some events which are "useful to national life" would be allowed to continue.

Dortmund will come to Paris with a 2-1 lead from the first leg, while Norwegian 19-year-old phenomenon Erling Haland scored a brace for the German side in that game.
