British cyclist Beck wins Haute Route Oman race

MUSCAT - British cyclist Colin Beck won the "Haute Route Oman 2020" race after he managed to win the first and second round and finish second in the third and last round.

According to a press release by Oman Sail, the organizer of the championship, Beck topped the overall for individuals in 6 hours 50 minutes and 1 second. His compatriot Alex Sherwin came second in 7:26:11, and Paul Wilcox finished third in 7:27:23.

The press release said that the Royal Oman Police team won first place in the team results, followed by the Royal Army of Oman (A) team and the Royal Army of Oman (B) came.

The race, running from March 6 to 8, witnessed more than 100 riders from 28 countries and regions travel 252km through 3 stages in the Wilayats of Al Jabal Al Akhdar and Al Hamra, about 165km south of Muscat.
