HK reports three more COVID-19 cases, tally at 1,112

HONG KONG - Hong Kong's Centre for Health Protection (CHP) reported on Monday three more imported cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of confirmed cases to 1,112.

The new cases involved two women and one man who came from Indonesia and Russia, the CHP said in a statement, adding that it is tracing related close contacts.

The CHP said it also continued investigating the recent cluster of infections in two residential buildings in Sha Tin and urged residents to remain alert, keep social distancing and avoid unnecessary outbound trips.

The Hospital Authority said 40 COVID-19 patients were still in the hospital, with three in critical condition.
