SHENZHEN-The integration of financial markets between China and Bangladesh has taken another step forward with the launch of a new coordination mechanism in Shenzhen during the 2nd China-Bangladesh Capital Market Cooperation Seminar on Monday.
The Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE) and the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) have jointly set up the Bangladesh Window on SZSE’s V-Next -- a platform to facilitate investment and financing for entrepreneurship and innovation.
The Bangladesh Window will facilitate Bangladesh-listed companies to explore strategic partnerships and diversify business and technology channels in China through onsite meetings and live broadcasting.
About 20 Bangladesh enterprises engaged in the information, communication and modern manufacturing industries have conducted road shows on the V-Next platform, which helps them to link up with Chinese investment institutions and listed companies.
A consortium of the Shenzhen and Shanghai stock exchanges joined DSE as a strategic investor in September last year, and has been exploring new models for the economic development of China and Bangladesh since.
