BURIRAM, Thailand - Beijing Sinobo Guoan FC who have not made any victory in the first two rounds of the 2019 AFC Champions League, hopes to notch up its first win at the game, Guoan's coach told a press conference here in Buriram on Monday.

The scorching weather remains a challenge for the players, who have been travel-worn here in northeastern Thailand, and the Thai team Buriram united is a strong team, we are in a difficult tournament but we still hope to win the game and will try out best, said Guoan's coach Schmidt.

Schmidt said Guoan's players are adjusting themselves and trying to make best preparations for the game, adding that they've learnt a lot from their rival.

Beijing played out a goalless draw with Urawa Red Diamonds on Matchday Two and it remains the only team in Group G who has yet to record a victory.

But the team is on superb form domestically and currently lead the Chinese Super League after a 3-0 victory over Jiangsu FC on Friday made it four wins from four.

Touching on Renato Augusto's injuries in former games, Schmidt said it won't affect the team's performance in Tuesday's game.

I know that we are facing a daunting task as Beijing Guoan has a better performance than Thailand and it's a good team with many talented players, said Buriram United's coach Bozidar Bandovic.
