GUANGZHOU - President Xi Jinping has called for greater resolve and stronger measures in comprehensively deepening China's reform and widening opening-up in the new era.

Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, made the remarks during his inspection tour of southern Guangdong Province from Monday to Thursday.
